Epidemic Prevention and Precautions During the Holiday Season

1. During New Year's Day, Christmas and other holidays, you should not leave Shanghai unless it is necessary. If you really need to leave Shanghai, you must apply to the counselor/Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) in advance and submit the application form(click to DOWNLOAD),report the complete itinerary and relevant information, and leave Shanghai only after approval. In addition, you must promise to not travel to medium and high risk areas and other unconfirmed risk areas, as well as observe personal health protection. Application is required in advance when returning to Shanghai (see Article 2 for details).

2. Students returning to Shanghai from other provinces or cities should notify the counselor/OISA of the time of return and itinerary information 1-2 days before their return to Shanghai. After returning to Shanghai, you must adhere to the university's epidemic prevention requirements as well as observe personal health protection.

A. Students living off-campus: If you need to enter the university within 14 days after returning to Shanghai, you need to provide a negative nucleic acid test report tested in shanghai within 48 hours, health code and travel card before entering the university.

B. Students who live on campus: you need to provide a negative nucleic acid test report tested in shanghai within 48 hours after returning to Shanghai, health code and travel card before being allowed to live on campus.

3. Please observe good personal health protection by washing your hands frequently, increase ventilation, reduce unnecessary travels, and refrain from gathering. In addition, you must wear a face mask, maintain social distance, and observe personal protection in public areas. Maintain a healthy physical and mental state in all time.

4.Make sure to clock in every day and report any unusual health conditions, such as a fever or cough, to the college counselor/class teacher right away.

5.International students living on campus must obey to the dormitory curfew rules and do not return late or stay off campus.

6. Please pay attention to fire prevention, theft prevention, food hygiene, traffic safety, and avoid all kinds of safety accidents. No one is allowed to light a fire, to use or store flammable or explosive materials, to charge electric vehicles, to use high-powered electrical appliances in the dormitory, as well as to throw objects out the window. In the meantime, please observe dormitory hygiene.

7. Please keep an eye on real-time changes in the domestic epidemic situation as well as the most recent epidemic prevention and control regulations. In case of emergency, please contact your college counselor/head teacher and OISA as soon as possible.
