Scienceover the past 120 years, this article offers a bibliometric analysis from multiple perspectives including the number of articles published over the years, countries/regions, institutions, authors, funds, keywords, citations, research content and discussed important articles that have attracted widespread attention.The study aims to systematically summarize how more than a century of multidisciplinary language research has evolved and distributed, so as to better understand its development patterns, potential problems and emerging trends and to promote modern language research.
