Towards the Oral History of Translation: Contents and Methods

Translation history is a discipline based on Translation Studies and Historical Studies, therefore the exchanges between the two disciplines can better promote the development of translation history research.Based on the relationship between Translation Studies and Oral History, this article reviews the concept, research trends, and the interdisciplinary features of oral history and probes into the contents and methods of research on the oral history of translation, including definition and status quo, research basis, research contents, as well as research value.In doing so, research insights on the oral history of translation are charted.
