摘要:本文从译介语境、译介主体的能动作用以及译者的翻译策略这三方面诠释《三体》英译本在美国被积极接受的主要原因。研究发现，中国国际地位的提升、中国科幻文学的蓬勃发展以及美国科幻文学系统的转型等，为《三体》在美国的接受创造了有利的语境；知名出版社以及译者刘宇昆依凭各自的资本为《三体》进入美国科幻文学系统发挥了必要的助推作用；而译者刘宇昆总体上侧重于保留原文的他异性，同时也借助副文本等手段兼顾到了译本的可读性，使得译本在美国展开了一次切切实实的中国科幻小说之旅。

Abstract:This paper, focusing on translational context, the role of translational actants and translation strategies, tries to explain how The Three-Body Problemis well received in the U.S.It is demonstrated that the enhancement of China's international position, the flourishing of Chinese science fiction and the declining of American science fiction, combine to create a favorable environment for the journey of The Three-Body Problemto the States.The cultural and symbolic capital of the famed publisher and the translator is a propelling force for The Three-Body Problem's success.And the translator Ken Liu adopts a predominantly foreignizing translation strategy and also employs paratextual devices to achieve a pleasant reading experience for American readers.
