Linguistic Information Tagging in CILC: Strategies and Analysis

  • 摘要:鉴于口译实践与效果评价对口译信息对应的特殊要求,中国口译学习者语料库(CILC)以系统功能语言学语言元功能理论为基础,结合口译语境分析,尝试对口译语言信息进行分类、分层标注。分类标注涉及概念、人际、语篇等三类信息对应,确定口译语言信息的完整性;分层标注包括"一对一""一对多""多对一"等不同类型,明确口译语言信息的对应状态。利用口译信息的分类、分层标注,便于对口译信息进行整体性量化评估,也利于考察口译策略与口译效果的关系。

    Abstract:In view of the particular importance of information equivalence in interpreting practice and quality assessment, Chinese Interpreting Learners Corpus (CILC) attempts to draw on linguistic meta-function proposed by systemic functional linguistics (SFL) and highlight the interpreting contextual analysis so that linguistic information in interpreting can be tagged as follows:first, category-based tagging is based on ideational, interpersonal and textual information; second, level-based tagging is grouped differently with regard to information equivalence, one-to-one, one-to-multiple, multiple-to-one, etc.The aforesaid information tagging can be instrumental to quantitative evaluation of interpreting quality as well as the study of the relationship between interpreting strategies and interpreting efficiency.
